OUR GREEN POLICY
Here at Geek Monkey HQ we're doing everything we can to make our processes (and lives!) more environmentally friendly. Here you will find some of the things we are doing to try to help - and we're always looking for new ways! HOW WE PACKAGE OUR PRODUCTS
We try to make sure we use cardboard-based products and try to only use ones made from recycled materials.

When packaging our minifigure frames and other delicate items, we do currently use bubble wrap, however, we are looking to change this as soon as possible. We have a large supply of bubble wrap purchased when we set up 3 years ago, and we're still working through it! Once it has gone we will use a more sustainable method to protect delicate items.
THE PAPER WE USE
For our prints and posters, all of our card and paper is of high quality and eco-friendly. The paper is credited with the EU Ecolabel - meaning that it supports and works with the sustainable management of forests. For general printing (e.g. order slips) we are in the process of switching to recycled paper.

OUR FUEL USAGE
The distance between Geek Monkey HQ and the Post Office means that most of the time we need to drive there.
​
As a result, we only visit the Post Office once or twice a week to minimise the fuel costs to us as well as to the environment, and we always make sure we visit a Post Office that is en route with other tasks we need to complete.
OUR CONVENTION APPEARANCES
We love Comic Con! But we don't love the number of plastic carrier bags we see at them.
We provide our customers with the choice of no bag or a paper carrier bag which is fully recyclable. We are also looking at sourcing some reusable tote bags to provide large purchases with, or that can be bought for an additional charge!
